Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools will be offering three new A level courses from September.
Photography, Music Technology and Digital Technology are exciting new A level options being introduced in the co-educational Monmouth Schools Sixth Form.
Currently, the Sixth Form’s carefully created curriculum offers 26 A level subjects.
With the introduction of Photography, Music Technology and Digital Technology, the options available will rise to 29 A level subjects for the academic year 2022/23.
Principal, Mr James Murphy-O’Connor, said: "We launched our co-ed Sixth Form four years ago to provide the best possible preparation for university and adult life.
"We are very proud of how this continues to develop under the superb leadership of Mrs Georgina Peace and her team.
"This September we will be augmenting our existing 26 A level subjects with three new options – Photography, Music Technology and Digital Technology – that will run if there is a suitable level of interest.
"Complementing this, our exciting enrichment programme adds a breadth of experience as we look to develop holistically the whole student through courses such as Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Young Enterprise, cooking on a budget, First Aid and climbing, among others."
He concluded: “We have made significant investment in our staffing, facilities and resources across our co-curricular programmes this year as we emerge from COVID, and we are excited about the extended opportunities ahead for our Sixth Formers."
