Repton School celebrates exceptional GCSE results

Repton School is celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results with 43.1% of grades awarded 9, 8, A* and 66.5% of entries awarded 9, 8, 7, A*, A.

Particular congratulations go to Alexander Mair who achieved a clean sweep of 9, A* in his 11 GCSE examinations and to Kahina Chaibi who gained 11 GCSEs at 9, A*. Poppy Kellock, Zara Knowles, Lily Parker, Harry Scutt and Zara Wedgwood were each awarded nine grades at 9, A*.


Repton School Headmaster Mr Mark Semmence congratulated all pupils on their success: “The outstanding set of results from the GCSE cohort as a whole is testament to their dedication, hard work and the incredible support they have received from all staff members.


It is particularly impressive that Reptonians consistently achieve such a high standard of results alongside their various extra-curricular and sporting commitments. Congratulations to all for building an excellent foundation with which to start your Sixth Form career and A Levels.”
