Year 6 visited London as part of their Citizenship Curriculum. The children visited the Houses of Parliament were treated to a detailed tour of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

They were fascinated to see where Lords and MPs sit and discuss the key decisions of the day. We saw where and how MPs voted and the impact of the monarchy on the running of Parliament.

Following Westminster Palace, Y6 embarked on a river cruise to The Tower of London. We had lunch on the boat and viewed some of the amazing buildings that make up central London - Shakespeare's Globe, St. Paul's, Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern, the Shard and of course The Tower of London.
