Emerging talent from young All Hallows artists

Six All Hallows children were honoured to have their work selected for display at the recent Black Swan Young Open Art Competition in Frome. Furthermore, two of those merited a mention - tremendous achievements all round.

All Hallows pupils were thrilled to have their artistic work recognised at the recent Black Swan Arts competition in Frome. This open competition, for young people aged 8 - 19 is the "biggest competition for creatives in the south west" and more than 150 schools have participated in the event in the past 5 years.

Special mention goes to Nell (age 11) who won an award with her ‘dry pastel bird’ and also to Edie (age 8) who received an honourable mention for her ‘Garden gnome’ painting.

Four other All Hallows pupils - Georgia, Sophie, Sarah and Savannah - also had entries which were display in the exhibition - a tremendous achievement in itself.

'It was a brilliant effort by all of the children. I am thrilled with how the pupils had really tapped into their imaginations and creativity which really shone through' said Sacha Guppy, All Hallows Head of Art.

About All Hallows School
