Timea, a student at Reigate Grammar School, began writing songs and playing guitar six years ago. She became a regular performer at the school’s ‘unplugged’ sessions and progressed to local festivals and venues such as G-Live as her talent developed.

This July, her debut EP, ‘Shadows’ has been released on major streaming websites and is proving an instant success. RGS Music Teacher, Nick Lobb says ‘I have been amazed at Timea’s development as a musician. Her songwriting is mature and sophisticated with an instantly recognisable style.  Her passion for music is infectious and this is obvious in the songs she writes.  I very much look forward to seeing Timea’s progression as an artist and songwriter’.

Timea says ‘Music is something I have enjoyed for years and I’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to record some of the songs I’ve written, which other people can now listen to.  This is my first Extended Play (EP) and hopefully the first of many releases, if people like my music.

RGS Headmaster, Shaun Fenton says 'Timea is a talented young woman, with a strong sense of justice and I am proud to call her a Reigatian. It is clear that she has a gift for communication and is destined for great things'.

Timea’s EP, ‘Shadows’ is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Google Music, Amazon Music and Spotify.
