Westonbirt Violinist lands place in National Children’s Orchestra, Great Britain

From over 2000 children who auditioned, Jemima who is in Year 9 at Westonbirt School, is delighted to have landed a place in the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.

NCO provides a world class foundation in musicianship and orchestral performance to musically talented children across the UK. Jemima will complete several concerts with the main orchestra in venues including Queen Elizabeth Hall on London’s Southbank. NCO concert performances have a well-deserved reputation for extraordinary technical accomplishment, at standards generally expected of adult professionals. Jemima says of her achievement:

“I am delighted to be playing in the amazing main orchestra for National Children's Orchestra-GB, it is a great opportunity and I can’t wait to perform with the other musicians.”
