Some 180 cadets, from the School’s Fifth Year and Sixth Form, were joined by the Brentwood Imperial Youth Band, serving and retired servicemen, representatives from the emergency services, civic dignitaries, and local Scout, Brownie and cadet groups.
The parade assembled in the School’s Library Square before making its way to the town’s War Memorial. There followed a service, conducted by Father Colin from St Thomas’ Church, a wreath laying ceremony and two-minute silence before the parade marched towards the High Street.
A march-past and salute was taken by Deputy Lord Lieutenant Dennis Rensch from the dais in the High Street before a service of remembrance at St Thomas' Church.
Headmaster Ian Davies said: “It was a very inspiring weekend of CCF activities. Our staff and senior cadets have once again proved to be a great credit to the School.”
