Inspirational Paralympian presents berets to girls in Combined Cadet Force

Major Jennifer Kehoe MBE honoured the Year 10 and 11 cadets at Monmouth School for Girls.

16th December 2021 — Major Jennifer Kehoe MBE was a special guest at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools this week.

Britain’s most decorated winter Paralympian, Major Kehoe, presented section RAF and Army berets to Year 10 and 11 students at Monmouth School for Girls in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and then delivered an inspirational talk to the students.

Four students have just gained promotion within the CCF: Eleanor Prince – Head of CCF – Cadet Warrant Officer; Eleanor Humphryes - Head of Army Section Year 13 - Cadet Sergeant Major; Jodie Tang – CCF Quartermaster Sergeant – Cadet Sergeant Major; Olivia Lau – Cadet Drill Sergeant – Cadet Sergeant Major.

Major Kehoe enjoyed a glittering career in Paralympic skiing, and is now concentrating on her role in the British Army.

Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools (Coed 7-18) is a day and boarding school in Wales.
