Christmas Jumper Day raised £530.21 for the Nepal Shiloh Farms project in Nepal as this village had been impacted by the Nepal earthquakes.

22nd January 2018 — Over the Christmas break, the donations Parkside School raised through our initiative were sent to the Shiloh Farms project in Nepal. This month Parkside School received a letter of thanks (see below), which showed who has been helped by our efforts. It just goes to show that even a tiny donation can make such a huge difference to a person's life.

Greetings Parkside School,
Thanks so much for partnering with the work of Shiloh Farms. We are very grateful for your generous donation that helps us employ local men and women who need safe work so that they can support their own children and families.
With your help, we are able to train villagers from the Langtang valley, that were heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake, and other communities, how to farm better so that they can get more food and money to help support their families and stay healthy.
Thanks so much for helping us to help others here in Nepal.
Thanks again,
From the Shiloh Farms Team
