24th November 2021 — Senior girls' sport at West Buckland School is riding high at the moment and this was highlighted by our U19 netball squad who have made it through to the Regional Finals, to be held in Bournemouth in January.

Their route to the event in Bournemouth involved a number of excellent wins at the South West finals held at Exeter University on 24th November. The team made the semi-finals after wins against Exmouth College, Churston Grammar and Blundell's. After a tight match against Colyton Grammar in the semis, the team narrowly lost to Exeter College in the finals. However, their performance was good enough to take them through to the Regional finals.

West Buckland's performance netball programme offers an opportunity for the most talented players to gain valuable coaching and strength and conditioning. The programme has been running for several years and has seen young players develop as they progress through the school.

We wish our squad the best of luck when they compete in the new year.

West Buckland School (Coed 3-18) is a day and boarding school in Devon.
