Keen golfer Lili-Rose Hunt from Bromsgrove School is celebrating after being crowned Worcestershire and Herefordshire 2019 Junior Girls’ County Golf Champion.

The Championship was held at Kings Norton Golf Club on 24th July during record high temperatures and was reduced to 27 holes because of the intense heat. Lili-Rose, who plays at Droitwich Golf Course won with a score of 110 Gross.

Earlier in the year, Lili-Rose was very fortunate to be invited to the Ladies’ European Tour Girls’ Golf Rocks day at Buckinghamshire Golf Club. She had the opportunity to meet and talk to Professional tour players, play lots of skills challenges and have her photo taken with the Solhiem Cup, presented at the biggest event in women’s golf.

Last year, Lili-Rose was one of only thirty-six girls from across the UK and Europe to qualify for the final of the Junior European Open Golf Championship, held at the Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort, Cadiz.
