In September, the junior girls set off for their Glasgow Hockey Tour.

They visited the Scottish Hockey venue at Glasgow Green and met International stars Heather Howie and Karen Belch and the girls loved their chat and having their pictures taken with them.

Then it was on to play Hamilton College and the girls won 6 – 0 with goals from Flora Allen, Laura Inglis (2) and Erin MacGregor (3)

On the final day, they travelled to the Transport Museum for a visit and lunch and then played Glasgow Academy where the score was again a 6 – 0 win with the scorers Flora Allen (2), Erin MacGregor (3) and Talia Macleod (our youngest player) scoring too.

Overall, it was a very successful trip for the girls, well done.

About Kilgraston School

Right from the moment that you pass under the rather grand stone archway that marks the entrance to Kilgraston, it’s clear you’ve arrived at a rather special place. Travel down the driveway, over the stream and past fields of horses until you reach our Georgian red sandstone mansion. Inside, our girls’ artwork adorns every wall, and the sounds of music rehearsals echo down each corridor. Across the front lawn – to what was once the stable building but is now our bright and cheery prep school – girls laugh, play and learn together. Only 45 minutes from Edinburgh airport yet Kilgraston is secluded and girls are free to roam around the 54 acres of pristine Scottish parkland.
