The U13A girls’ team have become IAPS National Hockey Champions after winning the final 3-1 against Danes Hill School.
After a successful run in the regional qualifiers, the girls topped their group with three wins out of five. This moved them on to the national competition hosted at Repton School in the Midlands, which saw the team compete against schools from across the country.
At the national finals, the team created endless scoring opportunities against St Faith’s in the quarterfinals, eventually winning 1-0. The semi-final was against old rivals, Foremarke, and went to golden goal time to decide who went through to the final against Danes Hill School.
