Oklahoma brings the West to Cranbrook in Kent

The Senior Years 7 and 8 musical Oklahoma brought the house down this week at Dulwich Prep School in Cranbrook.

The Senior Play Oklahoma played to packed audiences this week, with everyone leaving the theatre humming catchy tunes such as Oh What a Beautiful Morning, and I'm Just A Girl. Lighting, choreography, props and costumes all enhanced the spectacular set which brought the West to Cranbrook. An extra workshop performance in conjunction with local primary schools had everyone joining in the thigh-slapping, toe-tapping routines.

The Senior production is designed to be as professional as possible, with children preparing and auditioning for roles, and committing to an intense period of rehearsals. All children enjoy Drama lessons at Dulwich, with Drama clubs open to all during the school day.

Year 8 have done amazingly well this year, with a total of 11 Drama Scholarships to an impressive array of senior schools being awarded.

Dulwich Preparatory School is an IAPS day and flexi-boarding school of 540 boys and girls aged 3-13.
