At Coworth Flexlands School weekly lessons in music, dance and drama are an integral part of the curriculum with LAMDA a popular extra-curricular option.

The Coworth Flexlands LAMDA students participated in the speech & drama section of the Woking Festival where children from various schools perform individual poems in front of a judge and parents. They are marked on communication, projection, articulation, clarity, pace, expression & interpretation. The Coworth Flexlands girls won in every single category & gave outstanding performances reflecting imagination, confidence, skill, intelligence & fluency.

Congratulations go to Coworth Flexlands’ Year 6 pupil, Camilla Hale for winning the Buzzard Cup with distinction for her piano recital, particularly as she was competing against 14-year-olds with up to Grade 8 piano.

On the last day of the Festival dedicated to Speech & Drama, thirty-six Coworth Flexlands’ girls participated and won in every single category including the top three places in 8 year & 9-year-old Verse Speaking categories.
